New Years Day we blessed our sweet Rhett.It was a beautiful day full of family. All of Phil's family that live in town, my parents, the Rapier grandparents and Pam and Andy's family came to support us, our friends David and J'lene also came.
After sacrament meeting we all gathered in our home for a luncheon of ham and cheese sliders, pasta salad, fruit, chips and various cookies/treats. We numbered over 30 and amazingly all fit in our small home cozily. It was perfect.
Rhett was also perfect. He looked beautiful in his outfit and was happy and content during the blessing. Papa Link said he started to fuss just a bit as they got situated and the men all did the "blessing bounce" in the circle and he calmed right down. Phil gave him a lovely blessing expressing our gratitude for his presence in our family and blessing him to be strong in the gospel.
I just can't help but post all these pictures of my baby. Rhett, we love you so much. You are such a sweet and special boy. I am so glad you are part of our family.

Great pics! (as always) And look at you, lookin all fabulous with your baby only 3 months old. Its not fair to the rest of us! I just have to say that your luncheon sounded really yummy too...thats something that I struggled with a lot after having Reese. It'l like who's idea was it to make the new mom feed dozens of people? It doesn't make any sense to me. Rhett is adorable.
