Why I need Child-Proof Locks

Photobucket

The front room on any given day. I have since bought two small totes and divvied up their toys, we rotate once a week so they play with everything and don't get bored.

The kitchen on any given day, usually worse. Max will drag my mixer around the house by the cord. Why do I buy toys?

The guilty parties. Do you know how many times I have to confiscate feminine products and track down brushes, combs and curling irons?

Curiosity usually ends up getting someone hurt:

I tried installing locks when we first moved in and without a drill the cabinet wood split as I tightened the screws. I abandoned my efforts and have dealt with it for the past 10 months. Lately I am just plain tired of cleaning up the same tornado messes all day long. I have a drill in my amazon cart, I will push "buy" first thing tomorrow morning.

This made me laugh! Sorry it's at your expense. :)

These kiddos are so CUUUTE!! Course, I'm not cleaning up after them all day. Hang in there, mommy.

my house is so far from being child proof! And if my kid is anything like her cousin ecksen she will have the child safetly locks figured out by the time she is walking!

I understand now why my mom wouldn't "make" us clean the house until right before dad got home. We made HUGE messes as kids, but knew if it wasn't clean before dad got home we were in trouble. But that gave us all day to mess. Good luck! ;) I will soon find out what it's like. But in the mean time I will enjoy my clean and tidy house.

I had to laugh when you said you have to pick up sanitary items all the time. One time LeMarah or LeRynn got into our tampons and it was just Alfred and I home and all the sudden I hear blood curdling screams from him telling me to get in the bathroom right now! He was on the verge of a panick attack and it was just unused tampons ALL over. It's one of my favorite memories.

P.S. - I can't believe how big they have gotten! And OH so adorable too!

We have tot loks. They are the best! Absolutely 100% child proof and they don't break! I'd recommend them in a heart beat!

And the problem is that while you try to clean up one mess, they are making another mess in the next room. I love the pictures of kate getting her hand slammed in the drawer. You captured it the sequence perfectly and I think kids look cute when they cry...does that make me crazy? or just mean?

This post is my life lately! It made me laugh. I love how they're (and I'm including my Layla in this) totally oblivious to the frustration with their HUGE messes! they're just totally content with their tornado-like activities. My makeup drawer will never be the same, and I'm tired of finding my kitchen items upstairs! All I can do is laugh (probably often on the brink of hyteria-lol). I can't imagine having everything multiplied by two!

This post made me laugh and brought back memories of Andy in my tupperware cupboard with tupperware all over my kitchen. Also, Terina's locks are really good because I have a hard time opening the one in her kitchen!
