Isn't it amazing how much development occurs in such a short time? I have a full fledged human in here! Albeit a 2 1/4-inch one. Who doesn't love to see the finer details and progress? Lucky for me I get a lot of ultrasounds during my pregnancies.
I went in for a doctor's appointment with a perinatologist last week. Due to our history with Camden it is the standard of care to see a specialist for further testing. It can be a bit overboard I think but I am grateful for the attentive care I receive. I had some blood work done, a nuchal translucency ultrasound and a meeting with a geneticist and the doctor. Again, just a bit much and it wasn't anything we haven't heard before. All in all the baby looks healthy thus far for which we are very grateful.
I am feeling well and have started "running" again. I use the term loosely since one could easily walk briskly next to me as I run. When I first tried running it was a joke. I could barely run to the next block without stopping. It felt like all of my blood was sitting straight in my abdomen, just a heavy feeling. My lungs and legs felt good. It would make sense as a lot of blood is in my abdomen due to the baby.
I went "running" again with my friend J'lene this morning. I know I slowed her down and it was a joke of a work out but at least we were moving. I felt much better today, only my bladder was the annoying nuisance. I run the Warrior Dash on April 30th so I need to get back up to speed and be able to complete 3.5 miles, plus 12 crazy obstacles. My goal is to finish, nothing more, nothing less.

You crazy! I'm trying to run too, but asthma is my obstacle. Tis the season, as I like to put it.
Glad everything is looking good so far with new baby. I'll likely have to get the heavy duty testing with our next ones too, which I'm not looking forward to, but will be grateful for. It's so scary thinking about getting pregnant again after Ella.
Good luck with the Warrior Dash!
I'm so happy to hear that everything is looking great with this baby. Could there be a greater blessing then that?
Good for you for getting out and running again. I'm excited for you to do the Warrior Dash. Sounds so fun!
So, so, so, soooo happy for you ! What a cuuuute little peanut : ) I remember the genetic testing for Josh. My heart was racing as they came in with the results. I just kept praying over and over that everything would be normal ( like you, that's when we found out something wasn't right with Elizabeth ) I was so relieved to hear everything was normal. I felt like I could be excited about my pregnancy from then on. Congrats, I am just overjoyed for your family !
Let's go running again! Seriously, let me know when you want to go! I am so glad that everything looks great. I love reading the updates!
You did not slow me down. I had fun and I think we should "run" to the park again real soon. :)
Glad to hear that everything is healthy with the baby. Will you be finding out what you are having?
Kudos to you for still running even though you are pregnant. Im just curious what these obstacles are. Sounds scary.
Oh I love ultra sounds... seriously they always choke me up a little! So glad everything is right on track and you're out there being super mom running with two in a stroller and one in the oven! ;0)
