Everyday we have a messy boy after dinner time, always necessitating a bath.

Everyday he doesn't like to lay still to get a fresh diaper and clothes on afterwards; he's got things to do!
Some days Kate poops in the water while I wrestle with Max and she waits her turn to get dried and dressed.
Everyday 5 o'clock rolls around; everyday we are all missing our daddy and some days we are pretty tired of each other.

Some days I want to crawl in my bed to have a quiet moment. But my bed looks like this:

And I am being followed and never get that moment.
She just wants the quiet respite of mommy's arms. Some days I need to slow down and remember that.
Everything else can wait.

Some days we need to get the heck out of the house and this is our only escape.

Some days a certain little boy only takes a 15 minute afternoon nap. Four hours later and five minutes into our walk someone looks like this:

And then I look at these heavy lashes and thank the Heavens that these babes are mine.

Everyday.

I love that last picture! They are so cute.
That first pic of Max reminds me of how McRae went through this hat phase...basically was obsessed with hats...and every item he could possibly make into a hat, he did. Especially his bowl at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Needless to say, one bath a day is enough for me and it wasn't uncommon to see this little fellow walking around with oatmeal in his hair all day. Those are some sweet babes...glad you're taking the time to cherish the everyday moments!
I love this post. I think it's such a great idea to post about what your day is! I might have to do the same. ;) I am always in need of a happy reminder to remember the little things. So thank you!
I have been thinking about this whole "everyday" thing lately. I think that I might start a picture a day blog/book. I just think that I am forgetting all of the little things and although I am constantly snapping pictures, I will have like 400 pictures of a holiday and random pics here and there of her playing, but I'm losing the little details. Anyways...the food you fefed your babies looks so yummy
They are getting so big! I was just thinking about the babies yesterday in church. You know we always have our "spot" where we sit every week in church. We love that spot so that we can see all the babies and toddlers and watch their parents play/discipline/cry while they are trying to listen to Sacrament meeting. Hate to admit it, but it's our entertainment and I definitely miss seeing you guys with the twins!!
Heather, I love your blog! You take such great photos. Your babes are getting so big and so very cute!! I like your take on the "day." I have to remind myself often too, to just slow down and enjoy these little ones. You're a good mama and doing a great job! Congrats to you and Phil on your progression through school! What an accomplishment, espeically while having a sweet little family!! Good work!
