It's a JOB!

Yes, Phil has a job. Crazy, huh?

He accepted a position with US Airways, it will be contract for 4 months and then they will hire him. Once he is hired then we will get all the benefits-flights included! Phil & I were talking last night and when he starts the 1st week of March it will be almost exactly 2 years since he quit his last job. And then I told him I want to go back to school and finish my degree in hygiene-only 30 credits to go. He laughed and said we always seem to take turns. First he worked to get me through hygiene school, then I worked to get him through school and now he is working and I will continue to work but will hopefully start classes at NAU this fall. You have to get it in while you can right? Don't ask me when and where I am going to fit in school. I don't know. Work, YW's, life, school...

We find out about the MCAT "tentatively" on the 27th, this coming Wednesday! Phil did potentially have a job opportunity that would've upset our medical school dreams but thankfully and prayerfully they "found a better candidate". We fasted and prayed about this job and we were going to accept the position if they offered it to us and delay med school. Now we don't have to worry about that. Phil will work until he gets accepted to medical school, that is our goal and dream and we will keep testing and applying until they let us in.

Anyway, 3 cheers for employment!

Congratulations Phil! That must be a great feeling! Flight benefits are one of the greatest things ever! You will have a blast with that. School and work is hard, lots of losing sleep, but you are so strong, you can do it... congrats to you as well!

Yeah, congrats to Phil. You are so good to go back to school. Seriously, after hygiene school I am done for awhile! You are more ambitious than I am. I'm so happy there will be 2 checks coming in now. Yeah for flight benefits also!

Yay for Phil! Airline benefits rock!

Now you said that you would be taking classes at NAU??? Does that mean you guys will be moving to Flagstaff?

Wow a spouse that makes money! I wouldn't know what to do with myself! Good for you for finishing up your Bachelors. I thought that I would want to after hygiene school but I really have no desire anymore. I just want to stay at home and raise kids...is that bad? I figure I'm putting in my time now and then I'm done and it will be Nate's turn. 30 credits though is not so bad.

that picture is so funny! NAU??? Does that mean you'll commute? Hip, Hip, Hooray! Phil!
I dreamt two nights ago that I was at your house and you had this amazing exotic garden of fruits in your backyard. I remember thinking it was weird b/c it was ARIZONA! Dreams are funny.
So US AIR will get you free plane tickets to come see us???? Come in May for graduation!

HIP HIP HORRAY!

I support your NAU aspirations. Being an NAU grad myself, putting my husband through school here, and working for the University for going on 3 years... I think NAU is tops. But that's just my opinion. Ü

No, school will be online or at a campus here in town. Thank goodness. No moving for us. And we won't get flight bennies until he is hired, in 4 months. After all the fun family get aways-like Steph & Dave in Utah, or Craig graduating. Dang. So now we get to drive to UTAH! And not go to Philly. :(

Congrats on the new job for Phil. Maybe you can cut back on the number of hours you are working and find some time for yourself now Heather!
