California 2012: The Petting Zoo

The morning of our drive home we went to a petting zoo in downtown San Juan Capistrano. Stephanie had tickets and she let us use them, we purchased one more and a basket of carrots and were off to feed these sweet animals. Max and Kate were in heaven! They had guinea pigs, rabbits, llamas, goats, alpacas, sheep. The place was clean and well run. If we lived in the area I would definitely go a few times a year for the kids.

These animals are called Zedonks, a zebra donkey mix.

Kate was nervous getting so close to the animals and towards the end she was just throwing her carrots at them so they didn't get close.

Let's take a closer look at her face, so funny!

Rhett was a good sport and hung out in the stroller while I snapped pictures.

It was a great end to our trip and the perfect family outing.
